Connecticut Governor Recommends Alphastar America for Funding of $25M from Broadband Stimulus Program
Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell recommends Alphastar America's (AA) project for $25M of funding from the Broadband Technologies Opportunities Program (BTOP). AA proposed to provide middle mile broadband access and Tier 4 data center services to unserved areas in at least 22 States. AA's project is economical, immediate in deployment, and creates employment in CT and the unserved and rural areas throughout the U.S. The services are offered at a discount to health care facilities, schools, libraries and first responders.
AA is seeking joint ventures, partnerships with ISPs, vendors, suppliers, bankers and other interested parties nationwide.
